I was contacted by Italian Magazine Case Da Abitare awhile ago in regards to my puzzle tables. They wanted to feature these tables in the October 2008 issue. Of course, I was waaay excited. I mean, to be considered for potential magazine publication is major, to be considered for potential publication in an architecture/interior architecture magazine is THE icing on the cake, a small nudge from God letting me know that I'm doing something right. To be considered for publication in an Italian architecture/interior architecture magazine is the cake, the icing, the forks, the knives, the plates, the favors, and the balloons! I have been a fan of Italian design for as long as I can remember and for them to even acknowledge my presence means so much to me.
I just got the images from the October 2008 issue today. Here's the cover:
This magazine is simply amazing. If you can get your hands on a copy (or a subscription) there would be no regrets. The photography, the layouts, the products, the colors are all breathtaking.
Here's the spread featuring my tables:
I simply cannot believe that I'm in this caliber of a magazine. God surely is working overtime for me! Anyhoo, click on the photo to see the bigger image. You have to admit, there are sooo many cool furnishings in this spread. I really like the purple puzzle chair--it gives me visions of dinning room splendor! Simply Brilliant!
I'd like to thank Case da Abitare for acknowledging my presence and motivating me to work even harder. The spread is amazing and I am honored to be showcased among these super talented designers. Thank You!
Wow!! That is crazy!! Congrats That is one of my favorite pubs. I am big into European and Italian design and Publications. They are not afraid to experiment with color. I am so proud of ya!!! I will cop it as soon as it comes out.
